We Passed Again
We have just had our yearly, apparently, unannounced inspection from the AA and I think we passed! Hurrah. I cannot live on the edge thinking that we may have a surprise visit from the AA or Environmental health. We try and keep our standards at the same all the time. So basically, you see is what you get, and it seems that the AA at least approve, which is excellent.
Its super to find we are still busy with the B&B even though the weather has taken a major turn for the worse. I have ordered all new duvets and pillows today for the winter but I think we may need them sooner than later. But I am determined not to put the heating on nor tights back on until October! My legs may go blue and orange, but I am will perceiver.
Our lovely garden is starting to go into its autumn sleep. We are starting to cut things back and soon the bedding will need to be dug and put for composting. The wheat field out the back has been harvested and the hay stacks stand proud ready to be gathered in. The birds are having a good time swooping down in amongst the stubble catching any little thing that moves. But we are have a lovely display of chrysanthemums and dahlias, both firm favourites of mine. They both remind me of 'me'. Big and blousy and like to make people happy.
Well I had better stop blogging now and finish my lovely cup of Earl Grey and scone, before it goes completely cold. Even in this cold spell there is nothing like a lovely pot of freshly brewed tea in an English Garden. Britain may have its faults but its the best place in the world to drink tea.
Bye for now.
